Established in 2017, the Luxshare Cup has grown to represent much more than a sporting competition. The centerpiece of this year’s event was the innovative “Luxshare Cup" Global Relay,ss a nine-month journey that began on June 24, 2024. This symbolic relay connected 28 company locations across China, Vietnam, Japan, the United States, Singapore, and India. Employees from different backgrounds and regions actively participated, each proudly contributing to the Cup’s journey from one site to another. More than a physical handover, the event fostered a sense of global emotional connectivity and unity.

Each stop in the relay featured unique cultural interpretations of welcome. At the Bac Giang facility in Vietnam, the Cup’s arrival sparked heartfelt celebrations. Employees donned traditional Ao Dai attire and performed a choreographed Vietnamese dance, prepared over weeks of rehearsal. “When I read the note inside the box that said, ‘Please deliver this safely to the next stop’—written in a language I don’t fully understand—I still felt its weight,” said Luong Thi Phuong, an HR representative in Vietnam. “It was a shared responsibility, a dream we were carrying together.”

That same spirit echoed across the globe. In the United States, Mandy Yang from the Overseas Management Department recalled witnessing colleagues in India create intricate floral motifs and perform traditional dances. “It completely reshaped my view of cultural fusion,” Yang shared. “Every site greeted the Cup with genuine care and collective effort. These moments conveyed a warmth and unity no manual could ever express. That’s what ‘One Luxshare’ truly means.”
